How To Grow

While growing daffodils in general is simple enough, to proudly showcase daffodils that thrive in one’s garden is like any other plant, it helps to know the “tricks of the trade.” To help Georgia gardeners and their daffs, the GDS created a region-specific “Calendar of Care,” to guide gardeners through the tending of their bulbs throughout the year.

Similarly, not all daffodils are happy in all regions of the country. Some like it snowy, others can’t stand the sight of the stuff. Based on the growing records compiled by John Lipscomb and added to over the years by other GDS members, we compiled a sampler list for beginner gardeners in the Atlanta / north Georgia area.
